About priceproven

PriceProven is a price-history site for AliExpress, built for shoppers in the US and UK who do not trust the percentage on the discount badge. On AliExpress the crossed-out "was" price is typed in by the seller, and nothing checks it. PriceProven checks it against a different number: the price we recorded ourselves. We read the listed price of every product we track once a day and store it with its date, so a discount claim can be tested against what the item actually cost on the days we watched it. Paste any aliexpress.com product link and you see the prices we recorded for that listing, whether it is near the cheapest we have seen, and how the seller's claim compares with our own record. No account, no email, no browser extension. The site also surfaces listings sold by different shops using the identical product photograph at very different prices, because AliExpress does not group those. Every page states its method and its limits: what was excluded, what could not be judged, and what you still have to check on the listing itself, such as variant, pack size and shipping. PriceProven is free to use.
