Claim your startup listing

Launchory seeded this directory with listings we wrote ourselves, so your product may already have a profile here that nobody from your team owns. Claiming it is free: verify an email on your own domain and the listing transfers to you, along with the ability to fix anything we got wrong.

FAQ

What does it cost to claim a startup listing on Launchory?

Nothing. Claiming is free and there is no upsell attached to it — you verify an email address on the product’s own domain and the listing transfers to your account. Editing it afterwards is free too.

Why does Launchory already have a listing for my startup?

We wrote it. Launchory seeded the directory with hand-written profiles of products we thought founders should be able to compare, which is why the listing exists without anyone from your team creating it. Until it is claimed it stays owned by our directory account.

How do I prove the listing is mine?

You request the claim with an email address on the same domain as the product website — a listing for example.com can only be claimed from an @example.com address. We send a one-time link to that address, and following it transfers ownership. No document upload and no manual review.

Does claiming a listing give me a dofollow backlink?

Not by itself. Claiming transfers ownership and lets you correct the copy. The link becomes dofollow when you add the Launchory badge to your site and verify it, which is the same requirement every free listing meets — the badge is what makes the links here worth having.

What can I change once I have claimed it?

Everything on the profile: the description, tagline, category, tags, pricing model, logo, website URL and social links. If we got something wrong, this is how you fix it.

What happens if I never claim it?

The listing stays live and stays ours. It is a real profile either way — claiming is how you take editorial control of it, not a condition of being listed.
