About Dagric OS
Dagric OS is an independently installable desktop operating system based on Debian 13 and KDE Plasma. It is built for people who want a familiar everyday computer while keeping clearer control over privacy, recovery, and system behavior. Dagric adds zero Dagric telemetry and does not require a Dagric account to use the desktop.
The Free edition includes a guided Calamares installer, hardware compatibility checks, multiple desktop layouts, signed release hashes, and practical Btrfs snapshot and rollback tools. Users can inspect the public source repository, machine-readable release manifest, test evidence, and documented limitations before installing. That transparency matters because privacy promises should be verifiable, not just marketing language.
Dagric OS is especially useful for people moving away from Windows 10, Linux newcomers who want guided setup, and experienced users who still value recovery tools and honest documentation. The system keeps its Debian base visible and does not pretend to be a ground-up distribution.
The Free edition is a complete operating system. Dagric OS Pro is a one-time $39 edition built from the same base with additional creative, gaming, development, and Windows-app packages preinstalled, plus all seven desktop layouts. Both editions use the same privacy principles. Reviewers can download the Free ISO, verify its signed hash, follow the hands-on test order, and compare published claims with the public evidence at dagric.com/review.
